Using Interpreter Line professional language services is easy. We provide Over-The-Phone (OTP) and Video-Remote-Interpreting (VRI) that can seamlessly link you (and multiple callers) via a landline, 4G smartphones or AVL suites virtually anywhere in the world.

Service Options – 3 Plans
Casual Caller (one-off use) – Interpreter callback service
Ideal for one-off or infrequent users who need to communicate with a client, a new business partner overseas, cover a family visit or private occasion. Interpreters are available by pre-booking on a set-time callback basis. To book, up to 1-hour’s notice is required for casual one-off use. Once the booking is confirmed an operator will call you back at the set time with the interpreter on the line.
A 15-minute minimum charge applies making OTP significantly more cost effective than face-to-face. The base rate is $29.50 + GST. Time is calculated in 15-minute increments of ($29.50 + GST) or part thereof, thereafter.
Payment by credit card can be made securely over the phone or via our payment page. The booking will not be confirmed without payment and cards will be charged for any additional time taken beyond 15-minutes at the end of the call. The base rate minimum charge is applied for cancellation of casual bookings at any time.

Pro Class (1-5 languages) – on demand
Designed for utilities providers, insurance companies, financial services, manufactures and exporters who operate a customer service or call centre during business hours and field 5-10 calls daily, in one or multiple languages. OTP and VRI are available on-demand without our call centre operator support. You dial a dedicated language number provided to you and connect directly to the interpreter in less than 90 seconds for most languages. A minimum term contract applies.
This plan provides upgrade options including: custom response with interpreters using your company name, customised service messages or scripted disclaimers, Interactive Voice Response (IVR) prompts, dedicated local landline or 0800 numbers for your exclusive use.
Calls are timed on an initial 15-minute increment ($29.50 + GST) or part thereof, and are subject to a sliding scale thereafter. Please email or call one of our client managers to discuss your individual needs and usage arrangements. Standard onboarding technology provision and assessment charge of $175.00 + GST apply. Dedicated 0800 numbers have a fixed annual telco charge.

Enterprise Class (unlimited) – on demand
Interpreter Line has a dedicated call centre that can accommodate over 200 calls a day in over 24 languages. We can customise our call responses and operations to suit individual needs. We have dedicated operators to coordinate central and regional government high volume on-demand OTP and VRI requests.
Upgrade options include, dedicated local landline or 0800 numbers for your exclusive use, pre-set language extensions and Interactive Voice Response (IVR) menus, freer engagement with operators and interpreters when custom support is needed beyond conventional ‘invisible agent’ parameters.
Calls are timed on an initial 10-minute increment ($22.50 + GST) or part thereof, and subject to a sliding scale thereafter. Fixed monthly plans are also available upon request. Standard onboarding technology provision and assessment charge of $375.00 + GST applies. Dedicated 0800 numbers have a fixed annual telco charge.
