Using Interpreter Line professional language services is easy. We provide Over-The-Phone (OTP) and Video-Remote-Interpreting (VRI) that can seamlessly link you (and multiple callers) via a landline, smartphone or AVL suit.
Interpreter Line has a dedicated call centre in over 90 languages. All interpreters are based here in New Zealand.

Pre-booked fixed time appointments
Ideal for one-off or infrequent users. Interpreters are available by pre-booking a callback.
One-hour’s notice is required. We can also connect any 3rd party that you may wish to join the call.
A 15-minute minimum charge applies at $29.50 + GST. Time is calculated in 15-minute increments or part thereof, thereafter.
Private one-off clients make payment by credit card securely over the phone or via our payment page in advance. The booking will not be confirmed without payment and any additional call time will be charged at the end of the call. Business clients will be invoiced monthly.
The base rate minimum charge is applied for cancellation or rescheduling of any calls. Please contact us for full terms and conditions.
On-The-Fly Calls – For Business Clients
For business clients who need immediate on-demand support. Most calls can be connected within 2-3 minutes depending on the language. A 15-minute minimum charge applies at $35.50 + GST. Time is calculated in 15-minute increments or part thereof, thereafter.
Business Class (1-5 languages) – on demand service
Designed for utilities providers, insurance companies, financial services, medical professionals who field 1-5 foreign language calls daily, in one or multiple languages. OTP is available on-demand without our call centre operator support. You dial a dedicated language number provided to you and connect directly to the interpreter in less than 60 seconds for most languages.
This plan provides upgrade options including: custom response with interpreters using your company name, customised service messages or scripted disclaimers, Interactive Voice Response (IVR) prompts, dedicated local landline or 0800 numbers for your exclusive use.

Standard onboarding technology provision and assessment charge of $175.00 + GST apply. Dedicated 0800 numbers have a fixed annual telco charge. After hour service rates apply as required. A minimum term and monthly contract charges apply.
Enterprise Class (unlimited) – on demand service
We can customise our call responses and operations to suit individual needs. We have dedicated operators to coordinate central and regional government high volume on-demand OTP and VRI requests.
Upgrade options include, dedicated local landline or 0800 numbers for your exclusive use, pre-set language extensions and Interactive Voice Response (IVR) menus, freer engagement with operators and interpreters when custom support is needed beyond conventional ‘invisible agent’ parameters.
Calls are timed on an initial 15-minute increment ($29.50 + GST) or part thereof, and subject to a sliding scale thereafter based on call volume. Standard onboarding technology provision and assessment charge of $375.00 + GST applies for any tech automation required. Dedicated 0800 numbers have a fixed annual telco charge. A minimum term and monthly contract charges apply. After hour service rates apply as required.
